Hello {!name_fix},

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! I cannot believe that the year has sped by so quickly and already it is that wonderfully family time for getting together and just simply taking some time out.

To help you celebrate this, I'm offering a special session working with me for you to look back over 2014 and see your achievements—how far you have moved forward with the things you promised yourself nearly 12 months ago. Click on the email or Skype link and let me know of your interest and we will book some time together.

Remember to take action, and set yourself up now by laying out your goals, desires and dreams and discover how you are going to achieve them by making a plan that you can easily implement... it would be my honour to help you with this, whilst also learning how you can make a real difference in the world.

For now, I would like to remind you that you have the opportunity of a free 30-minute consultation with me to discuss where you are in your life, what problems you may be facing and discover what your solutions are. Please remember to click on my Skype link or email me (susie@susiebriscoe.com) to schedule a time.

Let me know your thoughts, but for now, sit back, favourite mug of hot drink in hand, and settle down for a comfortable chat with a friend.

Loving hugs,

The Life Audit

Thankful

Week before Thanksgiving,
I limp around real strange.
Huddle in the corner,
As though I have the mange.
All the other turkeys,
Just gobble, gobble on.
I'm silent, and I act
As if my gobbler's gone.
Everyone is thankful
On Thanksgiving Day.
Friday it's forgotten.
You all go on your way.
I know what thankful is
So listen when I say.
"It's great to be a turkey,
After Thanksgiving Day."

"Remember this—that very little is needed to make a happy life."

- Marcus Aurelius Antonius

Marcus Aurelius Antonius. 26 April 121 - 17 March 180 AD) was Roman Emperor from 161 to 180. He ruled with Lucius Verus as co-emperor from 161 until Verus' death in 169. He was the last of the Five Good Emperors, and is also considered one of the most important Stoic philosophers.

During his reign, the Empire defeated a revitalized Parthian Empire in the East; Aurelius' general Avidius Cassius sacked the capital Ctesiphon in 164. In central Europe, Aurelius fought the Marcomanni, Quadi, and Sarmatians with success during the Marcomannic Wars, with the threat of the Germanic tribes beginning to represent a troubling reality for the Empire. A revolt in the East led by Avidius Cassius failed to gain momentum and was suppressed immediately.

Marcus Aurelius' Stoic tome Meditations, written in Greek while on campaign between 170 and 180, is still revered as a literary monument to a philosophy of service and duty, describing how to find and preserve equanimity in the midst of conflict by following nature as a source of guidance and inspiration.
