Hello {!name_fix},

What has been happening in your world? I so appreciate you getting in touch and keeping me up to date with your thoughts on reading my ezine... it keeps it fresh and ensures that we are in touch and on the right track whilst talking together.

I'm gradually getting used to the new tricks and alledged 'treats' on my computer courtesy of Microsoft... And it's taking quite a lot of getting used to. This underlines how my natural behaviour resists change and how much I have adapted to this brave new world by being willing to embrace all these new challenges brought to me through my computer. It's very much a love- hate relationship despite me telling my grandson that we cannot 'hate' as it's such a negative emotion. So this would seem a good time to remind you of my Breakthrough the Challenge of Change free 30-minutes phone/Skype consult to help you discover your own ways of moving forward and embracing things such as change which can seem overwhelming when tackled alone. Been There, Done That! Now What?

Just writing those few words reminds me of a lunch party several years ago... I was amongst great friends, but they might as well have been speaking an alien language as none of them were happy or content with their lives. On the surface they had it all -- professionals at the top of their game, with the beautiful home together with the 'right' toys to prove it.

This was the first time I realised the importance of discovering your own personal values and being able to live by the code of conduct that these values provided.

For 40+ years now I have had contribution and charity at my core -- to start with, I didn't realise just how important this is to me, and that it was the rock that kept me centred in my world. Listening to my friends made me understand that just by focusing on career and possessions was not the answer to happiness and fulfilment. It was being a part of something outside yourself that enabled one to feel good in a completely different way.

I work with my clients to help them find out what is truly important to each of them; identify their values, beliefs and see what genuinely interests them The next step is to identify whether they can indulge in any of these new found qualities in a way that will fill the void that has become so heavy a part of their lives.

They are often totally surprised at the discoveries they make about themselves and how life changing it can be. My motto is to find a way to make a contribution to your family, your neighbourhood, county, state, country or world -- something more than just putting your hand in your pocket and fishing out money -- and see how it impacts on you. You will be amazed at the difference it will make in your own lives and how it brings back a spark of enthusiasm to your day to day activities.

The Road Not Taken

Giving Back... Contribution is such an important part of our lives these days, whether at a local community, an individual or a global level.

Fellow trustees signing and applying the official seal to a momentous agreement between Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and TfL, to allow a major redevelopment of our Battersea site alongside the building of the Northern Line Extension -- with Bradley Viner and Susie Briscoe at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
