Life By Design: Mastering Energy, Money, and Leverage in 9 Simple Steps, by Sundardas D. Annamalay (Kindle edition)

Naturopathic physician, Dr. Sundardas Annamalay, shares his secrets on learning how to overcome overwhelm and information overload in his new bestseller.

During Dr. Annamalay's study, he worked with over 15,000 people as he utilized neuroscience principles to figure out how people use their time under different circumstances. He has taken all this research and has created a time management system that can help you reset your priorities and channel your energy and resources effectively.

Life by Design is a highly adaptable and easily sustainable system based off of latest discoveries in neuroscience.

By developing meditative practices and systematic thinking concepts, he challenges you to reconsider how you utilize your energy, thus helping you become more effective.

An Inspector Calls (Heinemann Plays For 14-16+), by J.B. Priestley

I bought this for my 13-year old grandson, and here is my critique:

It's a very good quality book, especially for those studying it at GCSE. It is hardcover and so it is durable which is required for study and the pages are thick as well so highlighter pens don't bleed through!

It includes information at the beginning about J.B Priestley and the back contains student information and questions to help analyse the playbook.

Everything is laid out simply so you can easily read through the dialogue speech.

For those not studying it and simply purchasing it for the enjoyment, even reading the playbook is captivating enough. You're instantly hooked on all the characters attitudes and their effects on the play.

Priestley manages to convey his effective message of being responsible of those around you and teaches a valuable life lesson.

Compared to the other options of the book out there, this edition is by far the best one.

10,000 Miles with My Dead Father's Ashes: Or Mi Padre es Muerto en la Bolsa by Devin Galaudet

This new memoir by Devin Galaudet is full of hilarity, mystery, emotions, insights on family values, reconciliation with his dead father, and losing his father's ashes in Spain!

I've had the pleasure of meeting Devin and his wife and can vouch for his character leaping off the pages in this very amusing tale...

Devin shares how, through this journey, he discovered many secrets of his illusive family and learned so much more than he set out to.

While sharing details of his euphoric adventure, Devin also reminisces on the time he spent with his father. He writes about the trials and tribulations of life that formed his relationship with his parents and loved ones.

Unleashing the past, Devin shares surreal family stories ranging from tales of scared African fertility dolls to scandals consisting of fifty stolen cars!

I definitely recommend as therapy as well as a good read!

My Joy Journal, by Dr. Jean Farish and Viki Winterton

This one is for the children, no matter their age!

This beautifully put together book helps start positive character development, including cancer-surviving children in need of positive self-image/self-dialogue with themselves.

Highly recommend as this is at the kids' level, including bright and colourful instructions on how to start the process of journaling, and how to make it FUN!

Colour Your Legacy: Paint the Canvas of Your Perfect Life, by Susie Briscoe

Since I can hardly review my own book (lol), here's a review from a reader, Debbi Dachinger, who gives it 5.0 out of 5 stars!

This is an in-depth guide on how to start the work and be proactive about creating a legacy. The author shares the importance of legacy and how it affects future generations and she goes into great detail about how simple changes in your current life can help you kick-start your own legacy.

It also tackles issues such as self-esteem, health, healing and unlocking accomplishment for an improved quality of life.

This guide helps the reader to add color to every aspect of a great life.

And as always, I'd love to hear what you think about these books!!
